1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how Post Remixer collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you use the app, create projects, buy credits, generate content, export images, or contact support.

The product is designed around uploaded source images, saved projects, generated content, and account-based credit usage, so those categories are central to how the service works.

2. Information we collect

We collect and process information needed to provide the service, protect the app, and support users.

  • Account email, profile details, login/account identifiers, and authentication status.
  • Uploaded source images, including images selected from a device or captured through supported camera flows.
  • Generated text, captions, backgrounds, final exports, saved projects, project names, selected options, and related project history.
  • Payment and credit metadata handled through Stripe, such as purchase identifiers, credit pack details, payment status, and transaction metadata. We do not store full card numbers in the app.
  • Operational logs and lightweight diagnostics used to understand failures, credit/refund events, billing events, provider issues, and security-relevant behaviour.
  • Support messages and any details you choose to provide when asking for help.
  • Request, device, browser, IP-derived, security, anti-abuse, and rate-limit metadata needed to operate the service safely.

3. How we use information

We use information for practical product and safety purposes only.

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To analyse source images, generate text/captions/backgrounds, render previews, export final images, and save project history.
  • To manage credits, paid credit packs, billing status, and payment-related support.
  • To troubleshoot failed actions, debug product issues, restore credits where supported, and respond to support requests.
  • To protect the service from fraud, abuse, spam, payment misuse, security attacks, and excessive automated use.
  • To comply with legal, tax, accounting, payment, security, and platform obligations.

4. Service providers and processors

Post Remixer uses trusted third-party service providers to run the product. These may include providers for hosting, database and file storage, payments, email delivery, security, operational logging, and AI-powered image analysis and generation.

These providers only receive the information needed to provide their services to us.

5. AI providers and generated content

When you use image analysis or generation features, your uploaded images, project details, and generated content may be processed by AI service providers so the service can create your results.

We do not sell your uploaded images or generated content. We do not use your content to train Post Remixer's own AI models.

You should avoid uploading confidential, highly sensitive, or private third-party material unless you have the right to use it and are comfortable with it being processed for these purposes.

6. Support messages

If you contact support, we use your message and contact details to respond and investigate the issue. You should avoid sending passwords, authentication codes, full payment card details, private keys, or sensitive personal documents.

Support messages may be handled through an email provider so we can receive, manage, and reply to your request.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep account, project, generated-content, billing, credit, support, and operational records for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain project history, investigate issues, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

Some records may need to be retained for payment, security, tax, accounting, or legal reasons even after an account or project is no longer active. Where practical, we delete or anonymise information that is no longer needed.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of your personal information.

To make a privacy request, use the /support page when available or contact support@postremixer.com. We may need to verify your account before acting on a request.

If you are in the UK and are not satisfied with how a privacy issue is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

9. Security

We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect the service, such as account authentication, server-side checks, storage access controls, operational logging, and abuse-prevention signals.

No internet service can be made completely secure, so you should also protect your account, use a strong password, and avoid sharing sensitive material unnecessarily.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product, providers, legal requirements, or support processes change. The updated page will show the latest update date.
